Live from the Red Carpet

This weekend marks the grand finale of the eighth annual (but recently rebranded) Fayetteville Film Fest. Apparently there is more than one with the same name.

Were trying to develop the outrage necessary to adequately satirize ‘this world class film event, but that feels a bit like picking on the kid who wore the same tiger pajama shirt to school every day — or dominating Louisiana Tech.

Unfortunately, our two union accredited *filmmakers*, Eric Parkinson and Matt Wolfe chose to sit this one out. When reached for comment, Parkinson said, “It was a tough call, but we chose to do an official screening of BONOBOS in Venice next week instead.”  Did he mean BONOBOS, or BONOBOS?  In fact, I’m not sure if he meant Venice, or Venice.

Tough choice, but as a wise man once said, “It’s not Show-Friends.  It’s Show-BUSINESS.”

**Yes, we know others in this group have been affiliated with the film industry, but Steve Litzinger was technically the subject of ‘research’ when he appeared in the nudist colony documentary, As Nature Intended.  Of course, he was just back from the war and needed the money.  But when you watch that film, you can’t say he’s not one hell of a volleyball player.

Fin.
