For your consideration...
/It's Awards Season. The Golden Globes are this weekend and President Trump (Dear Leader) will be announcing his Fake News Awards early next week. We wanted to bring to His attention our own nominee of local fakety, Fake-Fake-Fake News, Ozarks-At-Large. The locally produced “news” & culture radio-magazine is hosted by our own Kyle K. Kellams. That’s probably a fake name.
The first Ozarks-At-Large of the year featured a selection of recommended 'Fantasy Reads' for 2018, including Emily Wilson’s translation of The Odyssey, the second edition of The Silmarillion by J.R.R. Tolkien, and The Washington Post by Jeff Bezos. As part of their coverage of this weekend’s National Championship Playoff, O@L branched out into the world of Fake Sports by running a 16-minute segment on Team Mascots.
That’s not a joke. Sixteen minutes. About mascots.
Their regular segment with the Militant Grammarian, Katherine Shurlds, is un-reconstructed propaganda manufactured to push their pro-literacy agenda on people who don't write good. Please dangle your participle elsewhere, Comrade Kellams!
Foghorns -- 5:00 to 7:00
1815 N. Greenacres Rd.
Admittedly, yesterday's O@L segment on Medical Marijuana in Arkansas was really, REALLY, really goooooood. But, we kind of lost interest about half way through, ordered a pizza and watched the Big Lebowski. Wait, what was I talking about…
