24 Frickin' Days
/Our Minister of Propaganda, Kyle Kellams, took a break from his highly lucrative Public Radio monopoly to craft this week’s post:
Its 24 days until the election is over, probably. All the talk about energy policy, foreign policy, labor policy and environmental policy has given us plenty to consider. Here’s something else to consider: the microphone is always on. Always.
And speaking of talking, or talking of speaking, an election season is when emotions can take over and we say hurtful things to the ones we love who are not ideologically on the same page as we are.
Stop. Deep breath. Have a drink before speaking. Or, maybe not. So, 24 days to go until this mess is over. You can keep your political genius to yourself or risk incendiary confrontation.
It is as if you’re trapped between two equally bad choices.
