Mardi Gras is the perfect occasion to take a break from fantasizing about other cities, other countries, other planets and revel in the costumes, the parade, the music.

FADA loves all of the Mardi Gras traditions. Saying hi to people on the street, enjoying beverages, King cake. Actually, King cake kinda sucks. Mardi Gras is spontaneous and whatever your strategyfor having fun, anything goes, at least until Wednesday.

Consider this afternoon a warm-up for the real deal on Saturday, when Fayetteville polymath Kyle Kellams leads the parade from Fayetteville Square to Dickson Street. That’s not an euphemism, he’s the Grand Marshall!  On Saturday, The Krewe of FADA will be posted up on the balcony of 21st Amendment at 2PM, come on out and represent.
