Greater Houston

In case you hadn’t noticed, a little movie about a local football legend is getting A LOT of national media attention.

Earlier this week, former Oklahoma State quarterback, Houston Dale Nutt took time out of his busy schedule to go on national sports talk radio and give his review of this truly character revealing story.  When asked his impressions on the film, the former Razorback backup shooting guard said:

The Identify Theft of Mitch Mustain?!?!?  I never watched that movie.  I thought I was on here to talk about Brandon Burlsworth…”

It was not, shall we say, a rave review.  That seems odd, since Ebert gave the documentary a big thumbs up, until Siskel reminded him that the the two of them are … uhhh … not making that show anymore.

The film’s writer/director/producer, and Friday Afternoon stalwart, Matt Wolfe, will give his review of Nutt’s review starting promptly at 4:30.  Bring the wood.

Greater is a story about heart, and grit, and determination – what it really means to be a Razorback. The Identity Theft of Mitch Mustain is, well, not.

SPOILER ALERT: This movie does not have a happy ending.

Neither of them.

Rev. Nutt, who was a Razorback for life (after he was a Cowboy, and a Racer, but before he was a Rebel), went on to blame everything on everyone. He also revealed he still doesn’t much like Springdale.

On that subject, we agree.
