Accepting the Inevitable

We are nothing if not devoted to relentless self promotion and re-branding when the time is right. We recognize and respect this, no matter the era or vocation.  We celebrate and remember one of our ownThe Greatest.

It was a momentous week.  Today we will gather together at place where retired professors argue and pontificate, to let them tell us about what it was like when Clay Ali knocked out Sonny Liston.  What life was like before edible six-pack holders designed go in the sea; restaurants with a curated toast menus; before shoes that are made of the waste floating in the ocean; and before presidential primaries that lasted three years. They’ll tell us what Dickson St. smelled like like before faux Mexican food ran off the vintage coffee shops — which ran off the head shop and the porn shed next to the Record Ranch.
