Hands Up! Don't shoot!

Our brave heroes in the Arkansas legislature did something bold and selfless this week. The state senate passed a non-binding resolution encouraging better education of collegiate basketball officials. We bet that has those panty-wastes at the NCAA pissing themselves.

Question: Is it panty-waste or panty-waist?

On the same day, the state senate also passed a bill making it illegal to carry guns to on-campus Razorback sporting events. On its face, this seems like a fairly egregious infringement on Raleigh Williams' Second Amendment Rights to literally blow holes through the Alabama secondary with a Gloc-9 like Damon Wayans in The Last Boy Scout.  But more inconveniently, the GOP's legislative Gun Grab makes it precipitously more difficult to provide real time feedback -- punctuated by squeezing off a few rounds in Bud Walton -- at a F'ing Zebra who doesn't know the difference between a CHARGE and a BLOCK, for Chrissakes!

Sadly, according to a law passed the day before, you'll have to wait until you come across said referee almost ANYWHERE else -- like a bar, or in church, or a playground. Or a hospital, assuming you didn't finish your point at the airport. Or a polling place.

No word on whether Director James Comey has announced if the FBI is investigating connections between Russian officials and the referees working last weekend's Carolina game. Nevertheless, we will gather to begin our state mandated four to eight hours of "training" at Open Door Cigars.  Phil's buying the first (semi-automatic) round.

Lastly, is anyone is driving back from Little Rock today? The House is taking up the measure this morning, so we don't know if Rep. Charlie Collins has finished (a-hem) servicing that NRA lobbyist, *Chris Cox*.  But if you are, could you please give poor Charlie a ride home before he creates another international embarrassment?
