Cinco de Mayo all over again

In celebration of the Mexican army’s victory over France at the 1862 Battle of Puebla, we're going to get loaded up on margaritas and totally make Mexico pay for it.

It'll be easy.

Just put the tab on your Sears Card and we'll get Vicente Fox to cover your layaway payments on that new above-ground pool you ordered.

Since last Cinco de Mayo, there is a new high-end Taco Bell Cantina on Dickson that serves alcohol!  Well, that'll save a step.  But nonetheless, we're still not going there.

The Kentucky Derby is also this weekend. The ladies' hats and mint juleps make one harken back to the old south. But never forget, Kentucky is still Kentucky.

Scott Lozen, the director of the FADA sports book had a birthday this week.  Assuming his hangover has subsided and dementia hasn't set in, he will be putting together a special derby day off-track betting pool (our attorney says it is Barely Legal).
